Research has suggested that education in entrepreneurship is believed, by two thirds of European business owners, to be in need of development.
The Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) and The Standard Chartered Private Bank released a survey that questioned a selection of the world’s leading entrepreneurs, indicating that, other than Asia, Europe is inferior to its international peers when it comes to investing in research and creating new business propects.
Further findings found that just 70% of entrepreneurs in Europe believe that the economic environment in their country will get better or even remain at the same level over the next quarter, making them the least optimistic about their future prospects, compared to 80% of global business owners.
Michael Conway, the UK President of EO, is quoted saying: “This research is particularly interesting to existing and future entrepreneurs in the UK because it highlights untapped potential.
“With the right investment in education and the right ecosystem to support growing business, Britain could become an entrepreneurial powerhouse.”
The EO and partner were aiming to recognize standards and trends within the business and economic community, and the economy in general.
